FAQ

Everything you need to know before taking the first step – from how our programmes work to what happens at your very first appointment.

Do I need to live in Bath to access your services?

No. While our initial clinical assessment takes place at Bath University, your ongoing rehabilitation sessions can be conducted entirely online, meaning you can access our services from anywhere.

For those living in Bath and the immediate local area, home visits are also available.

The initial consultation is an informal conversation, either by phone or video call (Zoom). There are no forms to complete at this stage.

We’ll discuss your medical history, current situation, and goals to determine if our programme is right for you. It’s pressure-free and designed to answer your questions.

You’ll need to bring relevant medical information and history.

We’ll provide you with a detailed list before your appointment. You’ll also sign necessary agreements and consent forms at the assessment before we begin any physical testing.

Our programmes are entirely individualised, so you can start whenever you’re ready.

There are no group cohorts or fixed start dates – we begin when you do.

That’s absolutely fine. Our programmes are tailored to your current fitness level, whatever that may be.

We meet you where you are and progress at a pace that’s safe, comfortable, and achievable for you.

Yes. The “Back on Your Feet” programme is specifically designed for the acute recovery phase following cardiac surgery or a cardiac event.

We work closely with your medical team to ensure your rehabilitation is safe and appropriate for your stage of recovery.

Our programmes offer longer-term support, highly personalised 1:1 attention, and the flexibility of online delivery.

While hospital programmes are excellent, they often have time limitations.

We’re here for the long term – from early recovery through to lifelong health optimisation.
